About Us
What We Believe:
We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, written by men through inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The Bible is the very mind of God; it is inerrant; it does not conflict with itself; and the New Testament is the perfect pattern and sole underlying authority for our faith and everything we do. (2 Timothy 3: 16-17; 1 Corinthians 2:10-13; Jude 1:3)
We believe God, the Father, is the creator and sustainer of all things. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-present (Genesis 1:1; Colossians 1:17; 1 John 3:19-20; Job 33:4; Psalm 139: 7-10)
We believe God, the Son, Jesus Christ, came from heaven in the likeness of men for the express purpose of shedding His blood on the cross to provide forgiveness of sins, (Romans 5:8-9; Hebrews 5:8-9), God raised Him up from the grave in victory over death, (1 Peter 1:3), and He sits at the right hand of God as our intercessor. (Romans 8:34)
We believe God, the Spirit, dwelling within us, gives courage and power of faith such that we may strive to align our individual free will with the will of God, the Father. (Romans 8:13)
We believe salvation only comes by grace through faith in accordance with God’s plan which includes faith, repentance, confession, and baptism. (Ephesians 2:8-10); Romans 10:17); Luke 24:47; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 2:38)
We believe God adds faithful believers to His church upon being baptized and gives us the gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit in accordance with His plan of salvation. The church of Christ is the New Testament church. The body of the church is made up of its members, having been added by God, and Jesus Christ is the head of the church. (Acts 2:47; Colossians 1:17-18)
We believe we are no longer bound by the Old Law of the Old Testament, but rather we are subject to the new covenant set forth in the New Testament. The Old Testament still serves for historical example, instruction and understanding (Galatians 2:16; Romans 15:4)
We believe men and women are equal in all matters, but God created distinctively different roles for men and for women within the spiritual church body in matters of congregational worship (1 Tim. 2:8-15; 1 Cor. 11:3,4; 1 Cor. 14:33,34)
We believe God made man, both male and female and declared the sanctity of marriage between one man and one woman for life. (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6)
We believe Christians must be faithful unto death. A Christian has free will to strive for spiritual growth or to neglect their salvation and drift away in apathy to spiritual death. (2 Peter 2:19-21; 1 Timothy 4:1; Hebrews 2:1-3; Hebrews 6:4-6; Hebrews 12:1)

Historical photographs and building expansion possibilities
2011 Photo's Of What Was Then The Future Building Site For the Congregation
These are 2011 photo’s of the land showing where the church building was built in early 2012. The pictures include the “coming soon” property sign, and shows some of the key men who worked so hard to find the land in Clover. These men were highly instrumental in planning to get this congregation planned and established in the local Clover SC community. There were also many others who are not in these photographs that also worked very hard on the Clover congregation planting. In these photographs you will see these men: Brett Pharr, Jim Hood, Dave Beels, Jeff Trotter, & Joe Manning.

2011 Project Plan
This is the PowerPoint presentation from April 15 2011, where complete plans for the building and the church buildout were developed.
This blueprint for success was used many times as the planned church planting developed into reality. Mouse over first slide and then you can start a slideshow to view this presentation.
Building Expansion Possibilities
The building was designed to have up to four expansions as needed in the future. The expansion plans shown below are to support the congregation needs as we grow. You are invited to come join the congregation in worship to God, and help us demonstrate the need to move to the next planned phase. Future planning has always been a key part of how the congregation operates, with strong leadership from our elders.
